George Davies (25 December 1875 – 23 July 1959) was a Welsh rugby union player who played as a centre and later as a fullback. He played club rugby for Llandeilo and Swansea, even captaining Llandeilo for two seasons before moving to Swansea. Davies earned nine Wales caps from 1900 to 1905, scoring 11 points, and helped Wales win the Triple Crown twice (1900 and 1905). He faced strong competition from Rhys Gabe, and a collision with Gabe in a Swansea match led to Gabe taking his place for Wales. He debuted for Wales on 6 January 1900 against England, alongside Dan Rees. In 1900 he scored a try against Ireland, and in 1905 he kicked four conversions during Wales' Triple Crown season. In 1905 he was moved to fullback for all three matches. Davies also played for Swansea when they faced the Original All Blacks on their first British tour.
