Scaralina marmorata is a species of planthopper in the family Fulgoridae. It is found in the southeastern United States, from central Texas and Oklahoma east to Virginia, and throughout the south and east wherever oak trees (Quercus spp.) grow. It is the only Scaralina species commonly found at elevations below about 1,000 meters.

Taxonomy and naming: The binomial name is Scaralina marmorata (Spinola, 1839). It has been known by several other names in the past, including Calyptoproctus marmoratus, Crepusia glauca, and Alphina glauca. For many years these were used for what were thought to be different species, but Alphina glauca is now treated as a synonym of Scaralina marmorata. DNA studies have clarified its relationships: Calyptoproctus is not in the same tribe Poiocerini, while Crepusia and Alphina glauca come from South America and are not the same genus.
