Gackle is a small city in Logan County, North Dakota, United States. It was founded in 1904 and named after farmer George Gackle. The town is in central North Dakota and covers about 0.55 square miles, mostly land, at an elevation of about 1,939 feet.

As of 2020, about 281 people lived there (around 280 in 2022). The ZIP code is 58442 and the area code is 701. Gackle uses Central Time.

The city has the Gackle Public Library. German was spoken there in the past, and you can see German inscriptions on the First United Church of Christ. Many former residents now live in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Colorado.
