Jere Tolton (December 9, 1937 – January 24, 2009) was an American judge and politician from Florida. He studied law at Washington and Lee University and worked as a newspaper reporter before entering politics. Tolton was elected as a Democrat to the Florida House of Representatives for the 6th district, serving from 1972 to 1976, after succeeding Henton D. Elmore and before James G. Ward. In 1976, Governor Reubin Askew appointed him as a circuit court judge for Florida's First Judicial Circuit, a role he held until 2007. He was married to Shari Tolton and had three children. Tolton died in 2009 at the age of 71.
