Gabriella Dorio, born on 27 June 1957 in Veggiano, Italy, is a former Italian middle-distance runner. She competed mainly in the 800 and 1500 metres.

Her biggest achievement is winning the Olympic gold medal in the 1500 metres at the 1984 Los Angeles Games. She also finished sixth in the 1500 metres at the 1976 Olympics and fifth at the 1980 Olympics.

Dorio won the 1500 metres at the 1982 European Indoor Championships in Milan (gold) and earned bronze in the same event at the 1982 European Championships in Athens.

She helped Italy win team medals at the World Cross Country Championships in 1976 (Chepstow) and 1982 (Rome).

During her career, she earned 65 caps for Italy from 1973 to 1991 and won 23 national titles.

Her personal bests are 1:57.66 for the 800 metres (1980) and 3:58.65 for the 1500 metres (1982).
