Parabacteroides chinchillae is a species of bacteria in the genus Parabacteroides. It is Gram-negative, anaerobic, and rod-shaped. It was isolated from the feces of a chinchilla (Chinchilla lanigera) in Japan and was first described in 2013 by Kitahara and colleagues.
