Franco Rossetti
Franco Rossetti (1 October 1930 – 11 June 2018) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Born in Siena, Tuscany, he started as a film critic and then worked as an assistant director in the early 1950s. He became well known as a screenwriter for Spaghetti Westerns, writing scripts for Django, Texas, Adios and Johnny Oro. He directed his first film in 1967, The Dirty Outlaws, and went on to direct seven more movies across different genres. He was sometimes credited as Fred Gardner or Frank Ross. Rossetti passed away in Rome on 11 June 2018 at the age of 87.
