Paul J. Miles (born March 25, 1952) is a former American football running back. He played college football for the Bowling Green Falcons at Bowling Green State University from 1970 to 1973. Miles became one of the few players in NCAA history to rush for 1,000 yards in three straight seasons: 1,185 yards as a sophomore, 1,024 as a junior, and 1,031 as a senior. After the 1973 season, the Associated Press named him the top running back in the Mid-America Conference. Bowling Green retired his jersey number 29, the first and only player to receive that honor. While in college, he also played guitar and sang in a folk-rock one-man act. He was inducted into the Bowling Green Athletic Hall of Fame in 1990.

Miles was drafted in the 8th round of the 1974 NFL Draft, pick 198, by the Baltimore Colts, but he never played in the NFL. Instead, he played professionally in the World Football League for the Memphis Southmen in 1974. In the WFL, he had 325 rushing yards, a 3.5-yard average, 3 rushing touchdowns, and 15 receptions for 123 yards.

He was born in Paulding, Ohio. He was 6 feet tall and weighed 188 pounds during his playing days.
