Foxton, County Durham
Foxton is a small village in County Durham, England. It lies northwest of Stockton-on-Tees, near Stillington. The name comes from Old English words for "fox" and "valley," meaning a valley where foxes live. The name was recorded as Foxedene around the year 1170.
