Rufius Magnus Faustus Avienus
Rufius Magnus Faustus Avienus was a politician of the Western Roman Empire. He was consul in the year 502, serving with Flavius Probus. His father, Anicius Probus Faustus, supported Pope Symmachus in the Laurentian schism, and his brother Ennodius Messala was consul in 506. Avienus later held the office of Praetorian Prefect of Italy from 527 to 528.
