The Football Federation of Chile (FFCh) is the governing body of football in Chile. It was founded on June 19, 1895, making it one of the oldest football federations in South America, and is based in Santiago. The federation is led by President Pablo Milad Abusleme.

The FFCh oversees both professional and amateur football through two main groups: the National Association of Professional Football (ANFP) and the National Association of Amateur Football (ANFA). It also runs the National Institute of Football (INAF), created in 1996 to train referees and coaches and to support football administration and venues.

FFCh is affiliated with FIFA, CONMEBOL, and the Chilean Olympic Committee. It is a founding member of CONMEBOL (since 1916). The federation has a complex history with FIFA, joining in 1913, then losing membership in 1925 during a split in Chilean football; in 1926 it merged with the other Chilean body to form a single governing entity that continued to work with FIFA and CONMEBOL.

Historical notes: The organization began as the Football Association of Chile (FAC) after a 1895 meeting in Valparaíso. Chile was an early organizer of football and joined continental football early on. In 1962, Chile hosted the FIFA World Cup, after being elected host in 1956. In 2006, the FFCh bid to host the 2008 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup and won the right to host, marking the first Women’s World Cup event in South America.
