Ficken's Warehouse
Ficken's Warehouse is a historic building in the Bergen Hill area of Jersey City, New Jersey. Built in 1910 by John H. Fickens, it originally served as a stable and warehouse. The architect was Ernest E. Quaife, and its design blends Classical Revival and Second Renaissance styles. The building sits at 750-766 Grand Street and covers about 0.3 acres. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 14, 1984, and to the New Jersey Register of Historic Places on May 1, 1984. After its warehouse days, it housed Bergen Station Post Office for about 50 years before being converted to residential use.
