Elaan (2005 film)
Elaan (2005) is a Hindi action-thriller directed by Vikram Bhatt. The story follows a ruthless crime lord, Baba Sikander, who extorts money from wealthy businessmen. After Baba murders Kantilal Shah, his adopted son Karan Shah vows to bring Baba to India and teams up with ex-police inspector Arjun Srivastav and Baba’s former driver and hitman, Abhimanyu. The trio, along with journalist Priya and Abhimanyu’s girlfriend Sonia, travel from India to Italy, Kathmandu, Munich, and beyond to capture Baba. After betrayals, hard fights, and a tense chase, Baba is finally cornered at the France-India border and is extradited to India, where he is hanged. Karan becomes a national hero and marries Priya, while Arjun’s daughter Ayesha is adopted by the couple; Abhimanyu and Sonia marry and settle in Venice. The film’s music is by Anu Malik with lyrics by Sameer.
