Ferreras de Arriba is a small municipality in Zamora province, Castile and León, Spain. It covers 48 square kilometers and has about 350 residents (as of January 1, 2025), giving a population density of roughly 7.3 people per square kilometer. The village lies within the Sierra de La Culebra hunting reserve. Its highest point is Miño Cuevo mountain, at 1,211 meters above sea level. A notable local tradition is the winter masquerade La Filandorra, celebrated on December 26. Coordinates are about 41.90°N, 6.183°W.
