2010–11 Mid-American Conference men's basketball season

The season began with practices in October 2010, ahead of the NCAA season that started in November. Conference play ran from January through March 2011.

Kent State won the regular-season title with a 12–4 conference record.

In the MAC tournament, sixth-seeded Akron defeated Kent State in the final in overtime to win the tournament and earn the MAC’s NCAA bid. Akron lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament to Notre Dame.

Season awards: The season MVP was Justin Greene of Kent State. The tournament MVP was Zeke Marshall of Akron.

Preseason poll (announced October 28, 2010): Ohio was the preseason favorite with 10 first-place votes, followed by Kent State (6), Central Michigan (4), Ball State (2), and Akron (2).
