Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse is an action-adventure, third-person shooter developed by Heavy Iron Studios and published by Activision. Based on the Family Guy TV show, it draws from episodes like "Road to the Multiverse." The game released in North America on November 20, 2012, in Australia on November 21, and in Europe on November 23 for Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Versions for Nintendo 3DS and Wii were planned but canceled.

In the story, you control Stewie Griffin and Brian as they chase Stewie’s evil half-brother Bertram across the Multiverse. Bertram has built an army from alternate realities, and Stewie and Brian travel through seven universes across ten levels, meeting familiar characters along the way. They return to their own world for a final confrontation in which Bertram reveals a bomb that can tear universes apart. The climactic battle moves from the city to Stewie’s house, and the game features two possible endings based on what happens.

The game offers both single-player and multiplayer modes, including cooperative and competitive play, plus extra challenge levels, maps, costumes, and unlockable Family Guy characters.

Reception was generally unfavorable. Critics praised the humor, voice acting, and character likenesses but criticized the gameplay, graphics, and overall story. A pre-order bonus added a level inspired by Aliens: Colonial Marines. In December 2014, the game was removed from Steam.
