Funk Drops is the third studio album by American jazz vibraphonist Freddie McCoy. It was recorded June 21–22, 1966 at Van Gelder Studio in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and released that year on Prestige Records (PR 7470). The jazz album, produced by Cal Lampley, runs 34:05. It sits in McCoy’s discography after Spider Man (1965) and before Peas ’n’ Rice (1967). All compositions are by Freddie McCoy unless noted otherwise. Allmusic gave the album 2 stars.
