The wingspan is about 12–13 mm. The forewings are dark bronze-brown with a pale yellow upright triangular patch near the middle. Across the wing are three bright coppery-blue-purple lines that run from the lower edge to about three-quarters across. The first line is just beyond the yellow patch; the second connects to a light yellow spot on the leading edge beyond the middle; the third outlines an oval bronzy patch with fine dark and rosy-white streaks toward the outer edge. There is a narrow black streak along the lower outer edge with three small black spots in whitish rings that look golden at the edge. Two short blue-purple marks appear near the tip. The hindwings are dark.
