17th Hong Kong Film Awards
The 17th Hong Kong Film Awards celebrated the best films of 1997. The ceremony was held on 26 April 1998 at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in Wan Chai. It was hosted by Carol Cheng and Cheung Tat Ming. Awards were given in 17 categories. Winners are listed first, shown in bold, and marked with a double dagger (‡).
