Parautoserica barclayi

Parautoserica barclayi is a species of scarab beetle found on the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe. It is about 8 millimeters long, with a short, oval body and a reddish-brown upper surface covered in very fine hairs, without any spots. The species was described in 2023 by Lacroix, Coache and Filippi and is named in honor of Max Barclay.
