Enca, born Ruensa Haxhiaj on 19 October 1995 in Tirana, Albania, is a singer and actress who has been making music since 2012. She released early songs like The Best Of and Kjo Verë and started by posting cover videos on YouTube, later using Keek to reach fans. She tried out for The Voice of Albania twice but did not pass the blind auditions. Her big moment came in 2014 with the hit A po t'pëlqen, which drew hundreds of thousands of views in its first week and helped her rise to fame. She has collaborated with rappers, joined Big Basta for Kënga Magjike, and competed in Top Fest (2013 and 2014). At the 2016 Zhurma Video Music Awards, Enca won Best Pop and Best Female for the video Dreq, and she and Noizy won Internet Prize and Best Video for Bow Down. Her music is released under Universal and Folé Publishing, and she continues to build an international fan base.
