Elizabeth Yu
Elizabeth Yu (born October 6, 2002) is an American actress from New Jersey. She has a Korean father and a mother with German, Irish, and Polish roots. Since 2018 she has been dating Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo. In December 2021, Yu was cast as Azula in the live‑action Avatar: The Last Airbender. Her first screen credit came in 2022 with Somewhere in Queens. She also played Ruby, a college student, in Year One. In January 2023 she joined May December, a black comedy directed by Todd Haynes. In March 2023 she was cast as Young Maggie in an NBC drama pilot created by Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs. Her character is a big murder‑mystery book nerd who ends up murdered.
