This Love of Ours is a 1945 American drama film directed by William Dieterle. It stars Merle Oberon, Claude Rains, Charles Korvin, Maris Wrixon, and Carl Esmond. The story is based on the 1923 Italian play Come prima meglio di prima by Luigi Pirandello. The music by Hans J. Salter was nominated for the Best Original Score Oscar in 1946. Produced and released by Universal Pictures, the film premiered on October 31, 1945, and runs 90 minutes. It was later remade as Never Say Goodbye (1956) and adapted as the French TV film Comme avant, mieux qu’avant (1972).
