Dr. Greenthumb is a song by Cypress Hill released in 1998 as the second single from their fourth album, IV. It was produced by DJ Muggs and written by B-Real and Muggs, recorded at Ameraycan Studios in North Hollywood.

In the song, B-Real presents his alter-ego Dr. Greenthumb, a cannabis grower who explains how to grow high-quality marijuana and mentions "Sizzlean screens" that help farms stay hidden from helicopters. The track opens with a humorous high-voiced salesman and a story about a farmer named Jed who was saved from police trouble. The main song starts around 1:15 (some releases begin earlier). The rhythm uses a sample from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly as performed by The 50 Guitars of Tommy Garrett.

Dr. Greenthumb charted modestly: US Billboard Hot 100 #70, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs #57, Hot Rap Songs #14; UK Singles Chart #34, UK Dance Singles Chart #7, UK Hip Hop and R&B Singles Chart #9; Germany #47. A Spanish version titled "Dr. Dedoverde" appeared on Los grandes éxitos en español. The name has roots in a 1970s cartoon, though it’s not clear if Cypress Hill borrowed it. The music video was directed by Estevan Oriol.
