Mario Daniel Saralegui Iriarte (born 24 April 1959 in Artigas, Uruguay) is a Uruguayan football manager and former player who worked as a midfielder.

He spent most of his playing career with Peñarol in Uruguay, with later spells abroad at Elche (Spain), River Plate and Estudiantes (Argentina), and Barcelona SC (Ecuador). He also played for Rampla Juniors near the end of his career. He earned 29 caps for Uruguay and played in the 1986 FIFA World Cup. He was part of the Uruguay squad that won the Copa América in 1983 and collected several major titles with Peñarol, including league championships and continental trophies.

After retiring as a player, Saralegui became a coach. He had multiple stints in charge of Peñarol and guided the team to the Clausura 2008 title with a 5–3 win over River Plate Montevideo in the final playoff. He returned to manage Peñarol again in September 2020. In May 2021 he became a club representative.
