Donatas Rumšas
Donatas Rumšas, born March 21, 1988, in Palanga (then part of the Lithuanian SSR in the Soviet Union), is a Lithuanian football referee who works in domestic and international matches. He is a UEFA Elite category referee. After finishing secondary school, he studied civil engineering at Klaipėda University and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2011. He began refereeing in 2005 in Lithuania and has been a regular in the top league, A Lyga, since 2011. In 2016, he joined the FIFA International Referees List, allowing him to officiate international matches in UEFA and FIFA competitions. He has refereed in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Champions League, including group stage games in the 2025–26 season, and has taken part in UEFA Nations League matches and qualifiers. Outside refereeing, Rumšas works as a civil engineer and project manager in construction.
