Overview
This was the first time the mixed synchronised 3m springboard was held at the Commonwealth Games. Each two-person team performed five dives. Eleven judges scored each dive (three for each diver and five for synchronisation). For scoring, the middle score for each diver and the middle three for synchronisation were used, these five scores were averaged, then multiplied by 3 and by the dive’s difficulty. All five dives’ scores were added to give the final score.
