Wentlooge, also called Gwynllŵg in Welsh and sometimes Wentloog, is a small community in the southwest part of Newport, South Wales. It is in the Marshfield ward and includes the hamlets of Peterstone Wentlooge and St. Brides Wentlooge. In 2011 the population was about 737 people (720 in 2001). The name comes from Gwynllyw, a ruler from the 5th–6th century.

The area is bordered by the Percoed Reen to the northwest, the River Ebbw to the northeast, the Bristol Channel to the southeast, and the South Wales Main Line to the southwest. The West Usk Lighthouse sits on the Bristol Channel shore in the eastern part of the community.

Wentlooge is governed by Newport City Council and a local Wentlooge community council. It sits between Cardiff and Newport on a green belt to keep the two cities apart. There have been plans for light industrial development, including warehouses and a rail freight terminal operated by Freightliner Group.
