The Secret (1992 film)
The Secret is a 1992 American made-for-television drama film directed by Karen Arthur. It stars Kirk Douglas as a store owner who hides his struggle with reading and writing. When he discovers his grandson Danny, played by Jesse R. Tendler, has the same difficulty, the story follows their efforts to cope with dyslexia and support each other.
The cast also includes Bruce Boxleitner, Brock Peters, and Laura Harrington. Music is by Fred Karlin. The film was shot in Boston and Nova Scotia and originally aired on CBS on April 19, 1992. The running time is 120 minutes.
