Charlie Sheen has earned several awards and nominations for his acting work. He won a Golden Globe in 2002 for Best Lead Actor in a Television Series (Comedy or Musical) for Spin City. He received Golden Globe nominations in 2005 and 2006 for Two and a Half Men.

He has four Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for the same role, in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. He was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Motion Picture for Being John Malkovich in 2000, and he had two SAG nominations for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series in 2005 and 2010.

In 1994, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to motion pictures.
