Tunde Akogun

Tunde Akogun is a Nigerian politician and retired army officer who served as a member of the House of Representatives for the Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency from 2003 to 2011. He was born in Auchi, Edo State, and hails from Akoko-Edo. He is married to Tumi. He attended Holy Trinity Secondary School in Sabongida Ora and Abeokuta Grammar School before joining the Nigerian Army, where he rose to the rank of Colonel before retiring. Elected in 2003 under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he served two terms and was the Majority Leader of the House. In 2011, he lost his seat to Peter Akpatason of the ACN.
