Delanie Forbes (born May 1976 in Sidcup, London) is an English actress based in East Sussex. She is best known for playing Cassie Carpenter in the BBC soap EastEnders, the daughter of Tony Carpenter. Forbes studied at a school in Mottingham, South East London, and was a full-time student at the Sylvia Young Theatre School. She first appeared on television at age three in a BBC play. In 1985 she joined EastEnders as Cassie and remained in the role until December 1986. She later appeared in The Bill in 1989 and, in 2001, played Anne-Marie in Love Is Not Enough, a film by Mark Norfolk about perseverance.
