John Henry “Jack” Dugnolle (24 March 1914 – 31 August 1977) was an English footballer who played as a wing half. He made 70 Football League appearances for Brighton & Hove Albion and Plymouth Argyle.

Early life
Dugnolle was born in Peshawar, British India, the son of a Royal Sussex Regiment officer who was killed in France in 1915. He grew up in Hove, attended Connaught Road School, and played for Hove and Southwick. He joined Brighton & Hove Albion as a professional in 1934 and made his league debut in 1935, though he didn’t play often for the first team.

Club career
He left Albion for Tunbridge Wells Rangers in 1938, then joined Plymouth Argyle, making four league appearances before World War II paused football. After the war, he returned to Brighton, where he played regularly and later coached the youth team. He finished playing as player-coach with Horsham, helping them win the Metropolitan League title in 1951–52.

Coaching and later work
Dugnolle went on to coach at Worthing, wrote a coaching manual called Soccer Simplified, and did scouting for Liverpool.

Death
He died in Shoreham-by-Sea, Sussex, in 1977 at the age of 63.
