DeWitt Thompson Weaver Jr. (September 14, 1939 – March 18, 2021) was an American golfer and golf consultant who played on the PGA Tour and the Senior PGA Tour. He was born in Danville, Kentucky, and grew up there and in Lubbock, Texas, where his father coached football at Texas Tech in the 1950s. Weaver excelled in sports in high school and attended Southern Methodist University, where he lettered in multiple sports.

After college, he moved to Georgia and became a top amateur golfer in the state. He turned professional in 1964 and played on the PGA Tour from 1967 to 1976, winning twice. His best year was 1971, when he finished in the top 25 on the money list.

In 1989, at age 50, Weaver began competing on the Senior PGA Tour. He won the Bank One Senior Classic in 1991, rallying from five shots down on the final day and beating J. C. Snead in a playoff.

Weaver worked as a club professional after his touring days and ran a golf consulting company with his children. He helped start junior golf programs at St. Simons Island and Rabun County High Schools in Georgia. He lived in Braselton, Georgia with his wife, Sheri, and was known for his Christian faith.

He died on March 18, 2021, at his home in Suwanee, Georgia, at the age of 81. Weaver’s career included 30 professional wins: 2 on the PGA Tour, 1 on the Senior PGA Tour, and 27 other events.
