Naukati Bay Seaplane Base, also known as Nichin Cove Seaplane Base (IATA: NKI; FAA LID: AK62), is a public seaplane base owned by the Naukati Bay Community. It serves Naukati Bay, Alaska, and is located on Nichin Cove on the east side of Tuxekan Island, about 2 nautical miles southwest of Naukati Bay on Prince of Wales Island. The base sits at sea level and has two water runways: a north–south runway 10,000 by 1,000 feet (3,048 by 305 meters) and a northeast–southwest runway 10,000 by 300 feet (3,048 by 91 meters). In the 12 months ending December 31, 2006, it had 300 aircraft operations (about 25 per month), of which 83% were air taxi and 17% general aviation.
