Parmentier Wee Mite
Parmentier Wee Mite, sometimes called Noel Wee Mite, was a small British two-seat parasol monoplane designed by Cecil W Noel. It was built in Guernsey by Noel and Harold James Le Parmentier. The aircraft had a welded steel frame, wooden wings, and fixed landing gear with a tailwheel.
The Wee Mite began its flights in Guernsey in April 1933, initially powered by a 30 hp ABC Scorpion engine at Vazon Bay. After a forced landing damaged the fuselage, it was rebuilt with a 40 hp British Salmson AD.9 engine and a longer fuselage by 18 inches. It then completed a 50-minute flight around Guernsey on 15 September 1933.
The aircraft was registered as G-ACRL to Parmentier on 21 April 1934. It was dismantled and stored in 1936.
