Darrin Dewitt Henson (born May 5, 1972) is an American choreographer, dancer, actor, and producer from the Bronx, New York. He started in the 1980s as a member of the freestyle group Trilogy and sang on their single “Good Time.” As a choreographer, he worked with many stars and won the 2000 MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography for NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye.” He also released the popular Darrin’s Dance Grooves videos in the early 2000s.

In acting, Henson made his Broadway debut in Stand-up Tragedy (1990) and later appeared off-Broadway in Fabric of a Man. He starred as Lem Van Adams on the Showtime series Soul Food from 2000 to 2004, earning NAACP Image Award nominations in 2004 and 2005. He acted in films such as The Salon (2005), Stomp the Yard (2007), The Express: The Ernie Davis Story (2008) as Jim Brown, Tekken (2009), Black Coffee (2014), Chocolate City (2015) and its sequels Chocolate City: Vegas Strip (2017) and Chocolate City 3: Live Tour (2021). He also appeared in Zulu Wedding (2019) and had TV roles on Single Ladies and Being Mary Jane.

Since 2018 he has starred in The Family Business on BET+ as Orlando Duncan. He has choreographed music videos and live shows for artists like NSYNC, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and New Kids on the Block. He attended Prep for Prep, a program helping top minority students in New York City prepare for success. In 2022 he participated in the documentary Freestyle Music: The Legacy.
