REAL District
REAL District is a 102-acre sports complex and exhibition grounds in Regina, Saskatchewan. It is operated by the Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL). The district includes Mosaic Stadium, home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Brandt Centre, home of the Regina Pats. It connects several facilities, including the Viterra International Trade Centre, Canada Place, AffinityPlex (formerly EventPlex), the Queensbury Convention Centre, and The Co-operators Centre (a six-rink hockey facility). The site hosts major events such as Queen City Ex, Canadian Western Agribition, and Canada’s Farm Show. The historic Regina Exhibition Stadium (built in 1919) was demolished in 2017 to make way for the International Trade Centre, a $37 million, 150,000-square-foot convention space.
Naming history: the site was IPSCO Place (2006–2008) and Evraz Place (2008–2022). In March 2022, it was renamed REAL District to emphasize REAL’s involvement and the facilities’ naming rights. REAL has discussed expansion plans, including a new distillery and a new hotel.
Address: 1700 Elphinstone St, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
