Darnitsa (Russian: Дарница) is a small village in Kosteltsevsky Rural Settlement, Kurchatovsky District, Kursk Oblast, Russia. It sits on the Prutishche River in the Seym river basin. The village is about 78 km from the Russia–Ukraine border, 42 km northwest of Kursk, 22 km north of the district center Kurchatov, and 6 km from the rural settlement center Kosteltsevo. The climate is warm-summer humid continental.

Population: 34 in 2010 (49 in 2002).

Darnitsa is near several roads: 26 km from the M-2 Crimea Highway, 22 km from regional road 38K-017 (Kursk–Lgov–Rylsk–Ukraine border), 18 km from road 38K-023 (Lgov–Konyshyovka), and 0.2 km from road 38H-362. The nearest railway stop is 22.5 km away at Kurchatow on the Lgov I–Kursk line. The closest airports are Kursk Vostochny (47 km), Belgorod International (150 km), and Voronezh Peter the Great (249 km).
