2001 WNBA All-Star Game: The West defeated the East 80–72 on July 16, 2001, at the TD Waterhouse Centre in Orlando, Florida. It was the third annual All-Star Game. Lisa Leslie was the MVP with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Western coach: Van Chancellor (Houston Comets). Eastern coach: Richie Adubato (New York Liberty). Attendance: 16,906.
