Cheng Ruilong (January 1973 – 2 November 2010) was a Chinese robber, rapist and serial killer who killed 11–13 people across several Chinese provinces from 1996 to 2005. Born in Lianzhou, Guangdong, he was married with one child and unemployed when his crimes began.

His first known attack happened in Foshan on 25 May 1996, when he and three others raided a home, held the family hostage, and stole money and valuables. He and his accomplices continued to rob and extort people in the following years, traveling between Guangdong, Guangxi, Hunan, Zhejiang, Chongqing and Jiangxi.

In May 1998 he became a nationally wanted fugitive after another murder, and a dangerous manhunt led to the deaths of three police officers and a security guard. In January 2005, using the alias Zhou Quan, he was arrested for robbery in Ganzhou and sentenced to seven years in Jiangxi’s prison. His true identity was discovered in May 2009, and he was extradited back to Foshan to face murder and robbery charges.

He confessed to the crimes and was convicted of 11 murders and related robberies. He showed little emotion during the trial. On 2 November 2010 he was executed by lethal injection in Foshan. He left letters to his family, including a note to his son hoping he would never learn that his father was a murderer.
