Craft–Clausen House
The Craft–Clausen House is a historic stone house located at 170 Fairmont Road in Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey. It is built in the Mid-19th Century Revival style and sits on about 4.1 acres. The house is one-and-a-half stories tall, with a gable roof and Victorian decorative details. John Craft bought the property in 1848 and likely built the house soon after. William Clausen bought it in 1869, and the next owner was Walter Parley in 1924. In 1924, a small frame addition was added to the house. The property also includes a wagon house and a chicken coop. The Craft–Clausen House was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 1, 1992 for its architectural significance and is part of the Stone Houses and Outbuildings in Washington Township Multiple Property Submission.
