2020 Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders football team
The 2020 Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders football team represented Middle Tennessee State University in the East Division of Conference USA during the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS season. Led by 15th-year head coach Rick Stockstill, the Blue Raiders finished with a 3–6 record overall and 2–4 in conference play, placing fifth in the East Division. They played home games at Johnny “Red” Floyd Stadium in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
The offense was led by 5th-year offensive coordinator Tony Franklin and ran an Air Raid scheme. The defense, coordinated by Scott Shafer in his 4th season, used a base 4–3 defense with multiple looks.
C-USA Media Days were held virtually for the first time. The team announced its 2020 schedule on January 8, 2020, with six home games and six away games planned. Games against Duke, Indiana State, Old Dominion, UConn, Virginia Tech, and UAB were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
