Cotoneaster integrifolius
Cotoneaster integrifolius, the entire-leaved cotoneaster, is a low-growing shrub often grown as an ornamental plant in gardens and public rock gardens. It has been introduced to Ireland and is now naturalised there. The plant produces red, berry-like pomes that birds eat, helping to disperse the seeds. It is sometimes grown as a hedge for home security.
