Congea is a small group of flowering vines in the mint family (Lamiaceae). It was first described by William Roxburgh in 1820. These plants are native to southern China, the Himalayas, and parts of Southeast Asia. They are rarely grown outside tropical regions. The best-known species is Congea tomentosa, which is sometimes cultivated in large greenhouses, botanic gardens, or conservatories. Synonym: Calochlamys C. Presl.
