Mildred O'Neill (1914? – October 6, 2003) was the wife of Tip O'Neill, who served as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. She supported him in his campaigns as his "eyes and ears." She lived in North Cambridge, Massachusetts during his first seven terms and moved to Washington, D.C. in 1976. Tip O'Neill retired in 1986. In 1989, Nancy Reagan gave Mildred the Lincoln Medal for her fundraising for Ford's Theatre. Mildred O'Neill died of a heart attack on October 6, 2003, at age 89.
