Conchylodes platinalis
Conchylodes platinalis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Achille Guenée in 1854. This species is native to Central and South America and has been recorded in Venezuela, Belize, Costa Rica, and Honduras.
Identification: It features triangular wedge-shaped markings along the margins of the forewings and hindwings, and a mostly noncontinuous postmedial band. These traits help distinguish it from the similar Conchylodes ovulalis.
