Armash, Armenia
Armash (Armenian: Արմաշ) is a village in the Ararat Province of Armenia, within the Ararat Municipality. It has about 2,378 residents (as of 2011), most of whom are farmers. The main crops are watermelons and tomatoes. The Armash Important Bird Area is nearby, protecting many birds. Armash was founded in 1926 by Armenians who came from Istanbul (Constantinople).
