Compludo
Compludo is a small locality in Ponferrada, León, Spain. In the 7th century, St. Fructuosus of Braga founded a monastery there, but it did not survive. A historian described the area around Compludo as one of the most interesting places in Iberian religious history, calling it the birthplace of Spanish monarchism and noting it once had many saints and monasteries. A route of the Way of St. James passed through Compludo on the way to Valle del Silencio.
