Clyde L. "Buck" Starbeck (January 7, 1900 – December 21, 1957) was an American football coach. He was born in Montevideo, Minnesota, and played center for South Dakota State from 1923 to 1926. He began coaching in 1927 at Eau Claire High School in Wisconsin, then coached the line at the University of North Dakota from 1928 to 1935.

From 1936 to 1957, he was the head football coach at Iowa State Teachers College—now known as the University of Northern Iowa. His teams finished with a 95–58–10 record and won eight NCC championships (1940–1942, 1946–1949, 1952). He also coached basketball at Eau Claire High School in 1927–1928.

Starbeck died of a heart attack on December 21, 1957, in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
